NTN Europe Inaugurates its New European Headquarters and Research & Development Center in Annecy, France

Bringing together corporate and R&D functions to strengthen operations and innovation NTN Europe S.A. (hereafter, NTN Europe), a consolidated subsidiary of NTN Corporation (hereafter, NTN) engaged in the development, manufacturing and sales of bearings and other products across Europe, officially inaugurated its new European Headquarters and Research & Development Center in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, France, on July 9 with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new site was established through the reorganization and optimization of existing company assets as part of an asset utilization initiative in line with the urban redevelopment plan of the City of Annecy. The facility will serve as a foundation for strengthening the competitiveness of NTN Europe's operations and improving management efficiency. Previously spread across several buildings, the company's headquarters functions, operational teams and the European Research & Development Center have now been brought together at a single site. NTN Europe will improve operational efficiency and further strengthen its development capabilities. The inauguration ceremony welcomed numerous distinguished guests, including Prefect of Haute-Savoie, Mayor of Annecy, and Hideo Suzuki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to France as well as representatives from government, local authorities, business partners and other stakeholders. Representing the NTN Group were Eiichi Ukai, President and CEO of NTN Corporation, Yasuaki Takahashi, Executive Officer responsible for Europe, and Dominique Lavilla, CEO of NTN Europe, among other executives. In his remarks, Eiichi Ukai described the inauguration of the new headquarters as a major milestone for the NTN Group. He expressed his strong expectations for the facility as a strategic base that will strengthen NTN's business foundation in Europe and support future growth. He also reaffirmed the Group's commitment to creating sustainable value through closer collaboration with customers, business partners and local communities. Dominique Lavilla, CEO of NTN Europe, highlighted that the new site symbolizes the transformation that NTN Europe has undertaken across business operations, technology, sustainability and people development. Reaffirming NTN Group's vision, “Make the world NAMERAKA,” he expressed the company's determination to drive sustainable growth and strengthen competitiveness in Europe through collaboration and innovation. Speaking on behalf of the distinguished guests, Ambassador Hideo Suzuki praised NTN's technological expertise and its contribution to the French economy across a wide range of industries, including automotive and aerospace. He also highlighted NTN's role in strengthening economic ties between Japan and France and expressed his expectations for the continued development of both the NTN Group and the economic relationship between the two countries. Overview of the new European Headquarters and Research & Development Center The new headquarters was developed according to the principles of “NAMERAKA,” embodying harmony, fluidity and seamless collaboration. The building features open workspaces and collaborative areas that promote the sharing of knowledge and information. It supports cross-functional collaboration across teams and areas of expertise while fostering the creation of new value. Constructed with a high-performance timber structure and incorporating a roof designed to maximize natural daylight, the building helps reduce energy consumption. Photovoltaic installations and a rainwater harvesting system further contribute to the site's environmental performance. The new facility serves as a hub that supports NTN's efforts to realize a sustainable society and drives the creation of innovation.
