The Timken Company introduced a line of belts designed for automated flour milling machines.

Roller mill machines are used in food-processing to separate the parts of grain, then grind them into flour. 

The rollers rotate at different speeds and in the opposite direction, shearing the material as it passes through a gap. A specialized double-sided roller mill drive belt is required to support this unique application.

The three flour power belt configurations serve the majority of milling machines active in the U.S. The most common configuration features high torque synchronous teeth on one side and v-ribbed grooves on the other. Some machines use a dual sided synchronous or dual sided v-ribbed belt.
