NTN Track Club member Serena Sonoda will represent Japan in the women's 35km race walk at the 18th World Championships in Athletics on July 15, 2022 in Oregon, USA.

Sonoda will represent Japan at the 106th Japan Athletics Championships in April this year, breaking the record for Japan. This is her first world championship. We hope to have your enthusiastic support.

Sonoda's review

Although I am a little nervous because it is my first time representing Japan, I will enjoy the challenge on the world stage and will not forget the pride and gratitude that I am able to participate in. I will try my best to prepare until that day to give my best performance. I want to give a good report to everyone in my company and those who have been giving me a lot of support.
